American Alligator
I've started photographing this Alligator from a deck that was built in the river and realized
I should go lower as much I can to blur the background and get him as much I can at the eye level. I could go almost water level lying down on the deck and then only realized
the platform was going down with me! I found the perct frame before I've plunged into the water to swim with Alligator, with Alligator's reflection in the water and the background was completely out of focus. I like the feel of the strong animal watching you
from a short distance. This was taken at Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge, GA

Grey squirrel
It's not easy find a cute animal in the perfect background. But if you
spend lots of time in the wild you may come across scenes like this. If you have your camera handy with right settings you can get shots like
this. I found this cute guy in a beatiful spring morning from the whitenall park, Hales Corners, WI

Painted Bunting
There's nothing special about this picture. But the subject itself
is special. You won't see a painted bunting in WI where I live. I spent almost 10 hours in one area to get a decent shot
of one of the most beautiful bird in North America during two of my vacation to Florida. On my second trip after 2 and half hours of waiting I was
ready to leave without getting a nice shot. While I was walking to the car I happened to see this little fella is sitting on a bush I fired at least
50 shots to make sure I get at least one nice shot I did!!

Chipmunk
During a misty morning walk I saw this cute little guy enjoying the early morning sun. He was
little still little sleepy and allowed me to get closer to him. The sweet morning light gave the subject a beautiful glow and the background green and foreground out of focus
tree added extra dimension to the picture.

Wood duck
A male Wood duck is the most beautiful waterfowl you can find in WI. These ducks are not very
common in the area, but you can find them around especially in spring. They are generally shy birds. So it's hard to get nice pictures of them. Sometimes
you get lucky though

Whitetail deer
Whitetail deer is the most common wild animal in south eastern WI. Statistics says they are
the cause for 20% of total road accidents. Deer is hunted during hunting season. I love the background of the picture. Techinically this is
not the best image, but this has the perfect background. Getting out in the woods early morning on a fall morning can reward something like this

Bald eagle fishing sequence
I've been lucky even to see the country's national bird up close in the wild. These
birds come down to midwest all the way from Alaska looking for food during heavy winter. When the temperature falls really low (usually below
0 degree farenheit) river mississippi will be covered with ice which makes the eagles fishing difficult. But the water just below the lock and dams
will be open. Eagles concentrate below dams. If you are willing to stand and weight out in -10 degree farenheit (-23 degree centigrade) for few hours
with right camera and lens you can get shots like this!!. I drove 180 miles many times and waited hours before I got this sequence.

Whitetail deer and fawn
A studio like portrait of a mother and baby whitetail deer. The babies are born with beautiful white dots and they will lose
them by next year.

Common monkey
Primates does many things that humans do. Sometimes their facial expressions are very human like. This guys seems to
be very surprised to see something (may be my camera?). I like the image just because of the expression

Canada goose
Sometimes you get lucky with shots like this. Doesn't matter how prepared you are, if the subject reach the right spot
during one of your clicks the whole sequence would be wasted.

Whitetail fawns
I followed these three babies almost an hour in the woods. After while they (and the mother) stopped worrying about me
being close to them with huge lens. But they were alerted by any other sound. Some people walked at a distance that was
farther than me, but they all paid attention to that ignoring me!! Love the curious little ones

Baby Barn swallows
These little ones started flying but not ready to find their own food. I saw the group landing on a dead tree near to
me and sitting together. Then the mother coming in and I started clicking. Babies are not sure who will get the food
but it seems the mother knows which one and each visit she fed the right baby.

Yellow Barbler
This tiny bird moves very fast. Jump (or fly) between branches of small tress. They won't sit on one position
more than a second or two. You got to be really lucky to get a clean shot like this. I'm happy about the way the
picture turned out..

I don't take lots of landscapes. But when you see something like you can't help clicking. The marvellous color
of the fuji Velvia film gave the scene full

Whitetail buck
It's fun to watch such a large animal in the wild. He came out of the woods into an open area and saw the apples thrown
by someone in the field. He didn't care about me clicking away as he was enjoying the nice desert.
